The Social Media Workshop is all about staying connected with our loved ones no matter where in the world they are. It's about how we can use our PCs and other Smart Devices and an internet connection to stay in contact with friends and family and allows us to search for and make contact with people we may not have seen for years. We will start by defining what a Social Network is.

We will then study a typical Social Network like Facebook and find out how to create an account and begin tracking down friends.

We will look at a typical Facebook timeline and news feed and demystify the terminology and discover what information is where.

We will compare and contrast some of the more popular social networks like Youtube, Snapchat and others and discuss how to keep safe online.

There will be time for questions and answers at the end.
